We created a digital short to rekindle the conversation at the crucial time while federal judges were in the middle of deliberating, and possibly overturning, Prop8.
The digital short “Devin & Glenn” is based on the premise that if you disagree with the homosexual lifestyle, you should support gay marriage, because as popular culture, film and television sitcoms have reinforced, marriage is an unending lifetime of misery and why spare the gays from that?
Results: With a 15k production budget and zero media dollars “Devin & Glenn” has recieved over 35,691,268 online impressions to date and media coverage from the Atlantic Monthly to PerezHilton.com. More Importantly on August 4, 2010 a federal judge ruled that a voter initiative banning same sex marriage in California violated the Constitution’s equal protection and due process rights clauses.

Year 2 follow up Campaign to “Beware of the Doghouse”. Having already established what the doghouse was we decided to give people a look at life inside and the trial process involved in getting out. We shot a fully interactive film where you could put your partner in front of the parole board for crimes they may have committed. They would then be sent a video of their trial which would include personalized stills and video taken from their facebook accounts as evidence. We also shot this viral film to promote the experience.
